Aristocrat Restaurant

I was tired that time after school works and laboratories. I decided to go to Robinsons Ermita.

I chose to eat at  Aristocrat Restaurant.
I ordered the Aristocrat Chicken Barbecue and a Fresh Lumpiang Ubod.
Too bad, I forgot to bring my camera.
While waiting, a man brought over a spoon, fork, knife, and a glass of water.
This was really decent. I've never eaten to such fancy yet so costly resto before.
It was my first time here.
Finally, It arrived nothing so different to Mang Inasal's chicken except that it was so expensive, kind of sweeter, and makes me feel so full.
I don't think I need another rice.
The Java sauce definitely matches the taste of the chicken but I'm not fond of sweet things.
Anyway, after finishing my food.
I opened the little warm lumpiang ubod.
I'm quite disappointed to its size.
Its price doesn't match the quality and quantity of this food.
It only took me 3 bites to finish it up..
Though the lumpia has a hint of spice maybe because of a pepper, and there's a shrimp inside which also was new to me. It's a bit appetizing but I prefer Goldilocks'.

Maybe sometime I'll come again to have a taste of their Sinigang na Hipon.

Mag-exercise tayo tuwing umaga!

Masarap talaga at sulit iyon.

Well, ang hirap kaya ma-homesick.

Rizal Memorial Sports Complex

Just some info..from Wikipedia..

The Rizal Memorial Sports Complex, is national sports complex of the Philippines, located on Pablo Ocampo St. (formerly Vito Cruz St.), MalateManila. It is named after the country's national hero, José Rizal.
Formerly the Manila Carnival Grounds, the RMSC was built in 1934 for the Far Eastern Championship Games, a precursor to the Asian Games. It was destroyed during World War II, and reconstructed in 1953 for use in the 1954 Asian Games.
The complex was renovated in 2011. The National Stadium, the centerpiece of the sports complex, has a maximum seating capacity of 30,000. The complex also houses the administrative office of the Philippine Sports Commission, and quarters for the Philippine national athletes.

At the R.M. Track and Football Stadium.

This place is really big. There are people who practice here early in the morning around 6 am. They are good runners.I haven't seen an actual Football game yet but I'm looking forward to see one..^^

At the R.M. Swimming Center.

It only have 3 outdoor pools --- kids pool which was 3-3.5 ft almost, a 25x100 lapping pool about 4-8 ft, and a diving pool about 16 ft. Swimming attire is a must and strictly no food inside.. Many people do swim there but not everyday. It is open to public, students, pro-swimmers and others. There are available swimming coaches around who are willing to teach you. They offer 10 session swimming lessons for PHP 3500 (78.17 USD). So if want to have some swimming lessons, I'll watch and look closely for the best swimming coaches before randomly selecting them since it is quite expensive. I would rather prefer a male teacher than softy female coach. (based on experience..I can' t learn much from my female coach).
The entrance is cheap --P45 for students, P40 for pasay residents, and P60 for non-residents of Pasay. Quite good, ain't it?. It is open Tuesday to Sundays 8-00 am - 11:30 am and 1:00 pm-4:30 pm (except when there is an ongoing games written on their announcement board or ask the guard at the entrance gate of the RMS Complex). They clean the pool during Monday.
They have shower rooms for males and females. The shower rooms seems okay, although the drainage becomes clogged when the shower rooms are full. The place is not crowded when not summer and in weekdays.

Update (8/02/2015): The place is no longer open for public unless you consider getting first a swimming coach. Check out their administration building first to talk to some of the coaches DIRECTLY

At the Philippine Taekwondo Association Dojang,

I've never been in this place but one of my acquaintances do practice quite a lot here every Tuesday and Thursday.around 8 am.

HUNGRY?
If you ever get hungry. There are nearby malls -- Harrison plaza, Hypermarket, SM, University Mall, and etc.

PS: I'll try out the other center, if possible.

Dairy Queen

wew..
I was roaming around Robinsons Ermita when I saw this..

Dairy Queen was located near the Supermarket at the Ground Floor

This store gives a scent of dairies which I don't actually like.
My nose was a little bit weird, don't you think?..(may be I'm lactose intolerant?)
Usually, i throw up when I smell something dairy (e.g margarines) and even scent of oils as in virgin coconut oil.
But then, since I'm already here.
I'll find out whether the taste of their ice cream here was really good

So first up, I ordered blizzard cookies n' cream.
Yeah right, it doesn't fall out of the container (..so how am I supposed to react?..I'm not a kid, but kids would be amazed by this..)
I don't know if there's a theory behind this.
Anyway, it's just your ordinary ice cream.
There's nothing amazing, they just added more cookies in the ice cream.
Do you know Selecta ice cream? Well, it just taste like that.
But inspite of that, may people enjoy eating here..
Maybe, I'll try the banana split..

Overall, there's nothing new for the taste..
It just sticks inside the container.
Quiet pricey~
:p

I'll update this after some time then..

Do you have a cold??

Hey, it's getting rainy and cold all over now..
June, June, June,,,Tomorrow is July..days do pass easily, isn't it?..
By any means, did you catch a cold?..Oh no!..
Your nose was all stuffy and you have that green slime coming out of your nose..haha..
Well that's fine..that's what your body do to protect you..

I have a remedy for that..
Don't eat cold food/cold desserts yet.. I didn't mean the warm/hot foods that turned cold..but the one's like ice cream..You'd get cold..~shiver~
Don't eat sweet food/sugary food like chocolates, and dairy like eggs..Sweets will increase mucus production or that green yucky slime..Dairy makes it slippery or somewhat like when you pull that little sticky  slime they don't cut off easily.

Anyway, before it gets way out of the topic..

Did you know that onions are good against colds?..
I didn't mean you have rub it all over your body, sniff it or use it as a facial mask..
You have to eat it, of course..
I like onions but I don't know why?..

Just a little info..
Red onions are smelly..White onions are not that too smelly..They have a little sweet taste.
They are used for cooking to make the food or make sauces/dips a little sweet.
Yep, that's right.
(*Indians love onions but they smell, don't they*..oh no I didn't mean to make such comment..but they sure love to hug people...such tender loving care..i have an Indian friend, well she's nice such black beauty and she's taller than me..T.T..oh whatever, we're getting out of the topic again..)

Where are we?..Oh yeah..I'm going to suggest some food for you..

1. Tofu
Chowking's Tofu

Do you know the ones sold in Chowking? Have you ordered it before? Yeah that's right that's the one I'm talking about..

That order consist of tofu, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, shrimp paste(i think), and onion.
But did you know that buying tofu and making you own dish is better than ordering. The plump tofu you bought in the supermarket was much better in quality than such too fried crunchy tofu from restaurants.
You can make one, too. All you have to do is cut the tofu in squares and fry it. As for the sauce, mix soy sauce and vinegar, then add the chopped onions, the paste is optional(i don't know what it is that's why it is optional), and sugar. In mixing soy sauce and vinegar, it will depend on the level of saltiness/sourness you want from it. To little neutralize it, you add onion and sugar(optional). Onion can add sweetness to it that's why sugar is optional to use. Of course, you have to let the onions sit still in the sauce so that you wouldn't taste onions that much (it make sense if you don't really eat onions). Moreover, you don't want the taste of onions to overcome the taste of the sauce, if you do that..that's for you to discover why.

2.) Ensaladang Pipino (Cucumber)

This is a picture of the outcome..it doesn't have onions since I just took it from the net. But this time, i want you to add some onions.

A crispy cucumber taste good than the ones that are too soft.
There's no cooking required. You just slice the cucumber, add some vinegar, minced onions, sugar, black ground pepper. It 's up to you to adjust the level of sweetness or sourness..

Our main goal here is to use onions to get rid of your colds. Hope this helps you.
Because it always worked for me.

Lots A Pizza

I love pizza!!..who doesn't?..
Of all the pizza store, this one was the best for me..
I like the ones with mushrooms and black olives. It's very healthy but beware that pizza can also add to your calorie count (if you're in a diet). .
Anyway, as of now, this was one of my favorite store.
The catsup/ketchup/ketsup or whatever it was called spread applied on the pizza was just right.
I know, because I can tell the difference of taste. But still, it will depend on who was the one making the pizza.
I always order double or large sizes of pizza from this store.
From here on, I can't no longer say anything for such mouth-watering taste I'm yearning for..
It's a big thumbs up..

"THE BEST ARE THE ONES YOU WILL BE FOLLOWING!!!"

When looking for food, always consider the price and the quality.
If you bought something so expensive but you didn't like, it's a waste..
If you bought something cheap but you didn't like, It's fine..
If you bought something expensive yet it matches the price, well good for you..
But the best were the one's that were cheap, affordable yet something that tasted really good.
I bet you'll be coming back for it.

BAKE AND CHURN ICE CREAM CAKES

when you say "ICE CREAM", I drool..
I love ice creams..It was the best thing I've ever ate made for everybody.. :DDD
But when you say "CAKE", I started cringing for one especially in special occasions..

Mix them both, and you'll have a COOL CAKE..hehe

The first time it made known to me was when I was looking for a birthday gift as a FOOD..
I just tumbled upon this heavenly goodness and researched about it..
Unluckily, there weren't any in store for me in our town.
I asked my childhood best friend, Sheila, if she had already tasted one..
And she said "yes"..and now she gave me a very mouth-watering details about it..
I also inquired my big aunt about this and she agreed it tasted great..
Now, I was really drooling..

At the saddest point of my life not being able to eat one, a blessings dropped in front of me..
"oh my", it was already now in front of me, why didn't i notice it?..
I ordered this mango madness slice..(I'm a mango lover)
It was too thin for a P45..
aww, but it was great..The ice cream was at the middle part of the cake mostly 3/4 of the cake..(assumed)
I've already tasted it twice..but the one chocolate on the cup was too sweet..(P50)

Overall, I liked it, a thumbs up yet a little expensive..

S&R

When I was craving for a pizza..
Roxanne told me about this..(She was my college company)

S&R at Baclaran..

Next time, I'm going to venture it and unravel some stories about it..
But before go there..Let's have a first impression..
S&R was a branch from New York..so i suppose it was very luxurious..
They have big pizza, so I think it was good because all the reviews I've read says so..It was pricey, I know..

Palsun Korean Chinese Restaurant

ahh~ gluttony has overcome me ..
I raveled the net to find some Korean food resto in Manila and found this..

"Palsun Korean Chinese Restaurant"

How did I get there?..
i got off at Petron station at the Taft Avenue, Pedro Gil Street..(near UPM / PGH)
walk straight in Pedro Gil street, and go left on the Fourth street..
i dunno if it was Adriatico St. but it was near Robinsons Ermita..

Anyway, the food there was very expensive no wonder why there wasn't any customer..
When I opened the door, the place was great but small..
The people there were nice and they dress like the characters in Coffee Prince
The ambience was nice..

Since the food was very expensive so I ordered jjajangmyeon..
Well, the truth was.. I was really looking for the instant noodle I've tasted before that my aunt gave me..
It was spicy with orange color and I don't know..but I liked it..
Surfing 'round the net I found this " jjajangmyeon " which looks so much like it and I wonder if this was the food I was looking for..
Additionally, jjajangmyeon was a street food in Korea, it was their spaghetti..
I ventured out for a journey..and found myself in front of this store..I mean restaurant..
I waited a little bit, they gave me a big scissor and a table napkin..
After served the jjajangmyeon on my table..
"waah`", it's really big, i wonder if i can finish all of this..
but "where is the fork?"..aww..of course you should use chopsticks but i dunno how so, I asked for a fork..

There were seasonings to place if you want to..
- a mango-like, i dunno..it was sweet, i like it..
- an onion, or so what i think..aghh, it's bad..it was really smelly..
- leaves-like..
- a paste..it was sour..

okay, i place the table napkin on my lap and put one on my t-shirt..
Cut the noodles and some seasonings using the scissors because they are TOO BIG..that's the way it was to be..
The jjajangmyeon was really oily, I don't like oily foods..
so, MINUS 2
I've placed too much onions and it makes me puke..
so, MINUS .5
I like the mago-like sliced,
so, PLUS .5
The paste leaves me full and my stomach began pushing the food out..
Overall, I didn't like it..so I left it though i don't want leaving food behind but I can't handle the taste..It gross for me..

my 250 pesos was wasted.. :(
Leaving me unsatisfied..
